About the event
Join your dedicated tour guide for a 75-minute walking tour along the Chicago Riverwalk where you will learn about Chicago’s most formative history against the backdrop of its iconic architecture. Using the symbols of the Chicago City Flag, your guide will take you through the most impactful events in Chicago history with an unfiltered voice on the city’s complicated history. What really started the Great Chicago Fire? Did French explorers actually “discover” Chicago? And just who truly benefits from Chicago reversing its river? Come take a walk through the Windy City with Out & About!
Note on starting location: If you use your GPS, type in 24 E Wacker Drive. Once you arrive, you will find stairs and a ramp next to either State St. or Wabash Avenue that will bring you down to the riverwalk level next to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
